Color Therapy

Color Therapy - Heal your body and soul with colors

According to vedic science chakras are vast (yet confined) pools of energy in our bodies which govern our psychological qualities. There are said to be seven main chakras in all; four in our upper body, which govern our mental properties, and three in the lower body, which govern our instinctual properties. They are:

The Muladhara (root) chakra. (Red colour Therapy)

The Svadhisthana (sacral) chakra. (Orange colour Therapy)

The Manipura (solar plexus) chakra. (Yellow colour Therapy)

The Anahata(heart) chakra. (Green Colour Therapy)

The Visuddhi (throat) chakra.(Blue Colour Therapy)

The Ajna (third eye) chakra. (Indigo Colour Therapy)

The Sahasrara (crown) chakra. (Violet Colour Therapy)

According to Vedic teaching all the chakras should contribute to a human's well-being. Our instincts would join forces with our feelings and thinking. Some of our chakras are usually not open all the way (meaning, they operate just like when you were born), but some are over-active, or even near closed. If the chakras are not balanced, peace with the self cannot be achieved.
Colors have been an important part of human history right since the ancient ages. Each color has its own distinct effect. Some colors encourage excitement, whereas others make a person angry and yet other colors give a person a feeling of peace and gratification.

From the ancient time 7 prime colors have been considered important. The 7 horses in the chariot of God Sun, represent the 7 colors or the 7 rays of light. A rainbow also contain 7 colors. These 7 colors are linked to the 7 chakras (energy centers) of our body. Each color is related to an individual chakra. The weakening of an individual’s energy center denotes the deficiency of that particular color in the body.

Click on the chakras to determine the colours that need to be activated in your body.
